Know what is behind a link.

How accommodation links work, how a commission may be earned, and how that relates to your booking.

Current status

The public accommodation links in this version do not contain SoloRove affiliate tracking and currently earn us no commission. Displaying Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda or Hostelworld links does not mean they have approved SoloRove as a partner.

1. What an affiliate link means

An affiliate link can allow a provider or affiliate network to attribute a qualifying booking to this website. If the programme’s conditions are met, SoloRove’s operator, Jan Brchaň, may receive a commission. The rate and conditions depend on the programme and completed transaction.

Where such a link is used, it is identified close to the link with a plain-language explanation that we may earn a commission. You should not need to read this page to discover that a particular recommendation has a commercial connection.

2. Your booking and price

SoloRove does not charge you a referral fee. A provider’s price, payment terms and any applicable charges are determined by that provider. We do not promise that a linked offer is the cheapest option, that different channels always show identical prices, or that a commission-bearing link creates a discount.

You book with the business identified by the provider, not with SoloRove. Check the complete price, one-adult occupancy, room type and cancellation conditions before paying. A provider link does not reserve a room.

3. Editorial content and recommendations

Our destination guides introduce places and room choices for solo travellers. They are not an exhaustive comparison of the market. Inclusion does not mean we have personally stayed at every property on a linked search-results page.

Destination photographs are illustrative. We do not present fabricated traveller ratings, personal stays or hotel inspections. Sponsored content and other material commercial connections must be identified with the affected content. Commercial availability does not turn a destination into a safety recommendation or a provider into a guarantee of quality. Our Editorial Policy sets out how we separate useful planning information from commercial links.

4. Tracking on external services

Following an external link gives the destination website normal request information. Supported search links also include selected dates, destination, one adult and preferred currency. Affiliate links, if activated, may additionally pass an attribution identifier and involve a network redirect or cookies on the external service.

Review the destination website’s privacy information and choices. Our Privacy Policy and Cookies & Local Storage page explain the current SoloRove side of this process.

5. Questions or concerns

For a question about a recommendation or commercial disclosure, contact Jan Brchaň at jan.brchan@gmail.com. For a booking or payment query, contact the business on your confirmation.
