1. What this version uses
The current SoloRove website does not set cookies and has no analytics, advertising pixels, embedded booking widgets or third-party tracking scripts. Photos, styles and scripts are served as site files.
It uses local storage for features you request: remembering a market and saving destinations or searches on this device. Local storage is browser storage, not a cookie, but it still involves storing and accessing information on your device. There is no marketing or analytics storage to accept or reject in this version.
2. Storage entries
| Entry | Purpose and content | Duration |
|---|---|---|
solorove:places | The IDs of destinations you choose to save. | Until removed by you or your browser; no built-in expiry. |
solorove:searches | Searches you save: destination, check-in/out dates, room preference and UK/US market. | Until removed by you or your browser; no built-in expiry. |
solorove:market | The UK or US market you choose to remember. | Until removed by you or your browser; no built-in expiry. |
These entries are read on return visits to restore the relevant feature. They do not identify an account and are not synced to a server-side profile. Private browsing, browser restrictions or clearing site data may prevent persistence.
3. Manage your saved data
The button below removes SoloRove’s three storage entries for this site address in this browser. It resets the remembered market to the default UK market and removes saved places and searches. Export a shortlist from Saved first if you want to keep it.
You can also delete individual saved items on the homepage or manage site storage in your browser settings. Clearing local storage does not delete browser history, copied links, downloads or information held by booking providers.
4. Search URLs and other websites
Filters can appear in your page URL and browser history. When you open or share that URL, the filters may be sent with the page request or disclosed to the recipient. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
Following a provider link opens a separate website. Providers and, if used, affiliate networks may use cookies or other identifiers under their own policies and consent choices. SoloRove’s clearing button does not remove their storage. Current public provider links do not contain SoloRove affiliate tracking.
5. Changes and contact
If optional tracking or additional storage is introduced, this page and any required choices must be updated before it is used. Questions about the current use of storage can be sent to Jan Brchaň at jan.brchan@gmail.com.
